World Cup Fever
Hello. It has been some time b4 I last posted something and ppl commented that my blog is boring coz 4eva the same "First Post". haha... but seriously, I can't help it coz nothing interesting reallie happened. Btw, I just realised I don't know how to post pictures. Haha! So unless some1 teaches me, its going to be an all-words blog.
Oki...I don't know if any1 who reads my blog occassionally watches or is interested in the world cup (since its supposed to be such a big event), but although I don't have scv, I kinda follow up on the scores from the main site. So far, the giants have got it without much of trouble but this morning i saw last nite's scores were quite upsets. Ghana won Czech Republic?? and Italy drew with USA..?! gosh, I nv heard of Ghana AND I alwaiz thought Italy was supposed to be good as I alwaiz had the impression that USA plays superb rugby only. haha... well, lucky I didnt try my luck to buy any games from singapore poools and let them earn my money.
Seriously, I've given that suggestion some thought. I mean, since some of the teams are kinda "sure-win" type, even if its 1 pay 1.20, if u buy more, u still get to win 20cents x (say $30). that is about hahaa.. $6. Not that I like to gamble but since this world cup only comes once in 4 years, we should "participate" in it. However, I feel that you should not buy unless you are quite sure of a win. haha... mayb should go look at some of the odds. I remember last time some of the odds for a game was pretty good to bet on. If you buy both teams, and then pray that its not a draw, you will still earn some $. haha... i think thats what i did last world cup. But of coz ppl who are big gamblers will think my thinking will only allow me to win "peanuts". hehee, but hey, its for the fun of it. not for the $. the one problem with buying is that I dunno how to look at the card and draw the respective columns. haha... last time even hav to consult an uncle there. coz they all look so confusing. so paiseh. see how amateur i am. :)
Nx week is going to be a boring week as many ppl would have gone to work, that means nobody's online. unless for the first week of work, they are quite bored like some1. haha! all the best to those going to work. Have fun and hope you all have time to blog/come online when u start work. hehee...
